The Izmit SEKA Paper Factory, which was closed down in 2002, was transformed into the largest film set in Turkey, and continues to function under the name of “SEKA Deep Dream Film Sets”.
With an indoor area of 75.000 m2, the site is constructed over 280 acres, containing more than 100 multifunctional stages, 20 different open areas, and another 20 acres of multifunctional empty spaces.
With its Carpenter’s Workshop, Ironsmith’s Shop, Upholsterer’s Workshop, Dressmaker’s Workshop, Props Workshop inside a 1000 m2 storehouse, and a costume storehouse which houses 10.000 items, the set has been home to various different productions.
Thanks to its large cafeteria, rest areas for extras and gyms for stunt crews, the SEKA Deep Dreams Film Sets aims to offer maximum comfort, and is 90 minutes from the New Istanbul Airport, and 30 minutes from the Istanbul Sabiha Gökçen Airport. You can easily reach the Deep Dream Film Sets by land, air, sea and railroads. 3-4-5 star hotels are within a 15 minute drive, and film crews and stars can stay at luxurious spa hotels within a 30 minute drive.
